We’re looking for a dynamic Human Resource Assistant to support the implementation of effective HR systems and practices that foster employee growth, organizational compliance, and staff engagement.
This exciting role involves recruitment, training, policy implementation, and maintaining accurate HR records — all while ensuring adherence to labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Records Management
Develop and maintain employee databases and digital records.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of staff information.
Manage time, attendance, and payroll systems.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Prepare job descriptions and advertisements.
Shortlist and interview candidates.
Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction for new hires.
HR Policies & Documentation
Draft and implement HR policies and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date employment contracts and manuals.
Ensure alignment with labor laws and company standards.
Training, Development & Staff Engagement
Identify training needs and coordinate capacity-building programs.
Develop staff engagement activities to improve morale and retention.
Evaluate the impact of training and development initiatives.
HR Support & Compliance
Provide HR advisory and administrative support to departments.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (NSSF, PAYE, contracts).
Conduct periodic HR audits and compliance checks.
Disciplinary & Exit Management
Handle grievances and disciplinary procedures fairly.
Manage resignations, terminations, and exit interviews.
Ensure proper clearance, documentation, and final settlements.
