Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores and Inventory Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and storing goods, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
2. Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts.
3. Identify and report discrepancies in inventory levels.
Receiving and Storing Goods
1. Receive and inspect goods delivered to the store.
2. Store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
3. Ensure all goods are properly secured and protected.
Customer Service
1. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
2. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
Administrative Tasks
1. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
2. Generate reports and provide insights on inventory levels and trends.
3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Bachelors degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
3. Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience with inventory management software.
2. Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
3. Certification in inventory management or a related field.
