Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Deli/Meat Sales Clerks to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized deli/meat department.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on deli and meat products
– Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment
– Maintain a clean and organized deli/meat department, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
– Restock shelves and displays, ensuring that products are faced and merchandised attractively
– Maintain knowledge of deli and meat products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information
– Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
– Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
Requirements:
– 1+ year of experience in retail sales, deli, or meat department
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
– Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
– Diploma or equivalent required
