Job Summary:
We seek experienced Fuel Station Managers to oversee the day-to-day operations of our gas stations countrywide. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, maintain facility cleanliness and safety, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
– Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
– Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
– Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve complaints.
2. Inventory Management
– Monitor fuel and merchandise inventory levels.
– Order supplies and manage stock levels.
– Minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
3. Financial Management
– Manage station finances, including sales, expenses, and cash handling.
– Meet or exceed sales targets and control costs.
– Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
4. Facility Maintenance
– Ensure station cleanliness, safety, and security.
– Maintain equipment, pumps, and facilities.
– Address maintenance issues promptly.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
– Comply with fuel storage and handling regulations.
– Implement safety procedures and training.
– Maintain environmental standards.
6. Team Leadership
– Supervise, motivate, and develop station staff.
– Foster a positive work environment.
– Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts.
7. Customer Service
– Ensure exceptional customer service.
– Handle customer complaints and feedback.
– Implement customer retention strategies.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience in fuel station management or a related field.
2. Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory management software).
6. Knowledge of fuel industry regulations and standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
2. Certification in safety and environmental management.
3. Knowledge of local market trends and competitor analysis.
